About

Since launching CSR Operations in 2019, Claire Stein-Ross has successfully built organizational capacity and efficiency through a wide variety of short- and long-term projects for nearly two dozen for-profit and non-profit clients. 

In 2018, Claire served as Operations Director for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s independent expenditure (IE) program. She managed the budgeting and compliance for more than $81 million in paid media and polling spending across the largest congressional battlefield in a decade, and built and implemented processes for all IE products and the first ever in-house digital program. Prior to that role, Claire worked for Senator Martin Heinrich, first in New Mexico on his campaign and then for more than five years in his DC office, with an operations portfolio that included creating innovative workflow, archiving, and outreach tools; overseeing budgets; and designing human resources policies. She began her career conducting quantitative and qualitative opinion research at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research supporting campaigns and organizations across the country.

Claire is a proud and active alumna of Smith College, from which she graduated with a degree in government and art history. She loves cooking (and is a one-time DC State Fair pie contest winner), keeping up her Duolingo streak, and doing the NYT crossword puzzle.
